Rejuvenation of the BNCS
Time never stands still. With every new trend or development in medicine, and medical imaging, there is always a shift in clinical practice. That shift is not always as great as others may imagine. Take the BNCS activity heat maps, produced using the Alex Asher data obtained through a freedom of Information request.
Nuclear cardiology activity survey 2023
In 2023 we hope to conduct a nationwide survey of activity and practice across all nuclear cardiology labs. We need your support and involvement to make this happen. Further details to follow.
Nuclear Cardiology Cirriculum 2020
Having last been updated in 2010, the Nuclear cirriculum fo rthe pratcie of Nuclear Cardiology was in great need of updating. We have updated the previous iteration to include PET, Infection and inflammation imaging, DPD for Amyloid and Sarcoid Imaging. This is currently withe SAC for cardiology and with are in discssusion with the Royal College of Radiology to align with their training
INCAPS 2
NCAPS2 is the follow-up to INCAPS1 (Current worldwide nuclear cardiology practices and radiation exposure: results from the 65 country IAEA Nuclear Cardiology Protocols Cross-Sectional Study (INCAPS), Einstein et al., European Heart Journal (2015)

BCS Imaging Village 2023
This year at the BCS Imaging Village the BNCS will provide hands on reporting sessions. Come along and 'read with the experts'. Sign up and improve your understanding of the clinical application of nuclear imaging;
Ischaemia and Quantitative Perfusion
Rubidium PET perfusion with additional multi-modality imaging correlation and case discussion.
MBF quantification and the importance in clinical practice. From microvascular angina to lesion specific ischaemia and complex revascularisation cases.
Inflammation and Infection Imaging
FDG PET imaging in myocarditis, sarcoid and endocarditis.
Tissue Biology
Use of DPD in cardaic amyloid
